Emerging Technologies
I read the article, "Ultra-Efficient Solar," and a company called Semprius has created a new solar panel that has record breaking efficiency. An outstanding 34 percent of the light is turned into electricity, beating the previous record of only 23 percent. These solar panels also don't even need a cooling system because of how little heat they produce. So, if there is no need for a cooling system, there is no need to pay for one which brings the price down. I predict that once the price drops a enough for the "average" person to buy this, they will become much more popular. Also, we get a good amount of sunlight in southeast Michigan, so I believe that the solar panel could really help us out. In 2009, intelligent software assistant was considered emerging technology, and now, there is intelligent software assistants on iPhones.

Theodore Roosevelt: River of Doubt
In all three he had Malaria, and they had to face harsh rapids, He survived, people didn’t believe that he explored the river,
In two of them it Colonel Rondon Died, one of their own murdered one of them, how some of the men never regained health, and talk about Kermit, and that Kermit committed suicide.
Only one told about Kermit shooting himself, Roosevelt being shot while giving a speech, and Kermit was with the CIA.
I believe these could still be true because Tedy Roosevelt being shot would be pretty big news and the same with his son shooting himself.
I would verify this by looking for more sites that talk about Teddy Roosevelt getting shot and his son shooting himself.

Online Safety
Cyberbullying has become a major problem in the United States. One case where Phoebe Prince, a 15 year old girl hung herself because she was bullied at school, by text messages, and by Facebook. My initial reaction was to feel incredibly bad for her and hate to the kids because hiow can you take bullying so far to make the girl kill herself. Even after she was dead a Facebook page was made as a memorial thing and there was even posts bullying her there. How do you bully somebody after they already killed themselves because of you. She should have deleted her Facebook, blocked all the numbers that were people bullying her, and told her parents about this and had those kids expelled.

One change is that if you have an Android phone and don't sign in on google on the phone, then you cant go onto Gmail or even download apps from the marketplace. Another change is that they are combining all of their privacy policies into one to make thing more simple. Lastly, it is recording your searches more and may even be reading you e-mails if you have a Gmail account. I honestly disagree with the first link, I think I am going to like the changes because it is going to make everything easier and faster. Also, Google already had a lot of your information so I don't think a little more information about you will hurt that much.

Feed Readers
I worked with two different feed readers on wednesday, Google Reader and Bloglines.Overall, I liked Google Reader the best because it was better organized with your sites that you already subscribed to. One thing I liked about both sites though is that you could search for the things you wanted to subscibe to and it would give you a list sites that are recommended for you.

In A&M Records vs Napster, Napster was being accused of contributory infringement of music in 2001. United States District Court for the Northern District of Californa is the court where this trial took place.Napster was found guilty of jeopardizing A&M Records' sales. In the end, there was no fine but Napster was forced to shut down which made them go bankrupt.

Internet Safety
Internet Safety is being safe on the internet by using common sense. One of the most important things that I learned yesterday about internet safety is to never give out any of your personal information. Second, I learned that people are not always who they say they are and you should never trust anyone unless you know 100% that they are who they say they are.Lastly, I learned that you shouldn't say stuff online that you wouldn't say to your parents. When I am online, I could improve by giving out less personal information such as on Facebook and to think before I write stuff and put it online..
